IX Swap Drops First NFT Collection

IX Swap Drops NFT Collection to Celebrate Upcoming F-NFT Launch

IX Swap is proud to take another significant stride to mark the upcoming launch of its fractional non-fungible token offering (F-NFT) with an NFT collection now available on OpenSea. The limited collection consists of 888 NFTs that were created by our own team.

What makes IX Swap’s first NFT collection even more special is that part of the proceeds will go to Child’s Dream - a charity that helps provide access to education for children in countries that need it the most.

What Are NFTs

NFTs or non-fungible tokens represent blockchain-based digital ownership over one-of-a-kind assets.

While NFTs can cover anything that can be owned both in the virtual or physical world, the most common NFTs are digital assets in the form of artworks, in-game assets, and collectables.

IX Swap’s special NFT collection showcases its iconic spaceman equipped with different attributes, such as helmet styles, suit colour, background, and accessories.

IX Swap’s Upcoming fNFTs

The world of fractionalized NFTs (fNFTs) is gaining ground, and IX Swap is proud to be at the forefront of bringing mainstream attention to its potential.

At its core, fNFTs is just like a typical NFT but with an uncanny edge - the ability to divide the ownership over a single asset into different NFTs, hence, the “fractional” part.

For example, an NFT of a painting denotes single ownership over the said asset. Meanwhile, fNFTs of that same painting could see at least two people owning the same asset, each with distinct ownership rights over it that are programmed on a blockchain.

The result? A more liquid and accessible NFT market that welcomes more participation from its users.

Making Education Accessible to All Through Child’s Dream

All of the proceeds from the sale of the F-NFTs will go to the Child’s Dream Foundation, a charity founded in 2003 and focused on improving health, education, and sustainability in the Mekong sub-region, which consists of Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, and Thailand. This area suffers from social problems such as poverty, economic inequality and extreme wealth gaps, lack of understanding for ethnic and indigenous people, corruption and lack of good governance, economic mismanagement and civil war and political unrest.

“The children are our future, and it is up to us to do everything that we can to ensure that they have access to education,” IX Swap’s co-founder Aaron Ong said. “Through education, every child is given the chance to develop their potential, and Child’s Dream helps make that possible.”
